Installing 4KWALL on Linux

Installing on Windows

4KWALL is on the Microsoft Store, and it installs from WinGet:

Setting up automatic wallpaper rotation

1. Find wallpapers you like and add them to a favourite collection.
2. Open the auto-changer settings and choose that collection as the source.
3. Pick an interval — every hour, every day, or your own.
4. Leave it. Rotation resumes on its own after you log in, so if you forget the app is installed, it is doing its job.

Which desktops does it support?

4KWALL sets wallpapers on GNOME, KDE Plasma, XFCE, Cinnamon, MATE, Budgie and LXQt, plus Windows 10 and 11. That covers the default desktop of every mainstream distribution.
